Call for papers: Nordic Arts & Health Conference on 10 May 2022, Stockholm, Sweden
The Nordic Arts & Health Research Network hosts their second Nordic Arts & Health Conference on 10 May 2022 in Stockholm, Sweden with focus on Arts & Health Policies. The Conference is organised in collaboration with Kompetenscentrum för kultur och hälsa, Region Stockholm. We invite you to an exciting day with keynotes, presentations, workshops and networking opportunities with your Nordic Arts and Health colleagues at the Royal College of Music.
CALL FOR PAPERS:
The theme of the conference is Arts & Health Policies. This is a broad theme and can cover many issues including but not limited to:
- Integration/inclusion of arts & health perspectives in local, regional and national policymaking
- Arts & health in relation to sustainable societies
- Funding and resources
- Cross-disciplinary structures and systems
- Research supporting the development of the arts & health field & practices
- Sharing best practices
Submitting abstracts:
We welcome both research and practice papers as well as workshop proposals. Abstracts (max 250 words) should contain the name of the presenter(s), affiliation, contact information, title of the presentation, type of the presentation (research OR practice OR workshop) and a description of the content of your presentation/workshop. The research and practice presentations are for 5-10 minutes, followed by a moderated discussion. The workshops are for 25 minutes, and should be interactive.
Abstracts should be submitted to liisa.laitinen@turkuamk.fi by 31 January 2022. Notifications of accepted contributions will be made by 28 February 2022.

There will be an opportunity to publish your conference paper in a special edition of the Nordic Journal of Arts, Culture and Health. If your submission is accepted, we will let you know further details about this opportunity in March.

Nordic Arts & Health Research Network meeting on 11 May 2022
In continuation of the conference, the Nordic Arts & Health Research Network organises a network meeting on 11 May 2022. The network meeting is restricted to the participation of the network members only. Themes/programme for the networking event will be announced in March. Registration for the network meeting opens on 15 March 2022.
