Nordic Arts & Health Research Network meeting on 12 June 2026, online

 

The Nordic Arts & Health Research Network organises their next online morning coffee meeting on 12 June 2026 at 9.00 – 10.00am (CET). The theme of the meeting is The relationship between arts therapies and arts & health in practice and research. The meeting is chaired by professor Mimmu Rankanen (Oslo Met).

We warmly welcome all network members to participate in this informal online meeting together with your Nordic Arts and Health colleagues.

No pre-registration for the meeting is needed.

9.00 – 9.05     Mimmu Rankanen (Oslo Met): Introducing the topic and presenters

9.05 – 9.15     Vicky Karkou (Edge Hill University): Brief introduction to dance-movement therapy and its relationship to dance & health

9.15 – 9.25     Karoliina Maanmieli (University of Jyväskylä): Brief introduction to bibliotherapy and its relationship to literature, creative writing & health

9.25 – 9.35     Mimmu Rankanen (Oslo Met): Brief introduction to art therapy and its relationship to visual arts & health

9.35 – 9.45     Reflections of the topic between the presenters

9.45 – 10.00  Joint questions and reflections together with the participants of the online meeting
